This is a quick look at - & a tribute to - the first real American full-blown Supercar; the Vector W2- it's ultra brilliant concept & specs were matched by an unbelievably huge bad luck- it's striking looks & amazingly forward thinking ( Kevlar body, heads-up-display, flush-fitting windows & wind shield, jet fighters supplied dashboard instruments, 5 point safety belt- all in the 1980's- just to name a few) did not help in offsetting the bad circumstances which led to it not being built until more than 10 y
