caught this awesome site at my uncles neighbors house. <br /> <br /> the studebaker avantis were very unique cars. similar somewhat to the ford mustang. they were fast, cool and make a good sound. made to be a sports cars. i think the name avanti means foward in italian, not sure. this was also the first american car to be mass produced with standard disc brakes. the car was pretty fast with its 289 V8 making around 240 hp if i remember right, (remember, small light car). studebaker made this car to save their compan
