mistake number one was renting a vette with an auto, but then again, there might not be hurst vettes available in manual trans version. the next mistake was using NOS instead of just putting some good tires on. in the 8th, 100 shot Nos won't help as much as traction.

Why bother with 1/8 mile? Why not just record the 60' times and be done with it? I don't buy the "only track we could find" excuse. Make it a man's 1/4 mile (not kiddie-track length) or a standing mile and call me back. What a lame e-peen contest.
