The rx7 is a v8 too. The driver is alright and has fixed the car and turboe d it since. He was still tuning on it last time I saw it and it was runnin g 7's in the 1/4. It was running 8's in the 1/4 when it was wrecked. None of you have s**t that will touch it so quit hatin. He has built several lo w 9 second street driven cobras too.

So ZedSled- in order to own a mustang you have to be a member of the Clan? Thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess my invite is in the mail- oh w ait I've owned mustangs since 1986 and I'm not in the Clan. HMMMM...or may be it's the Black Panthers I'm supposed to be in. Car and Driver can eat a dick, they obviously are biased towards American cars. Every issue has a shootout of a mustang or a corvette, it gets old real quick. Half of the staff in that magazine doesn't seem to know their head from their ass when it comes to cars anyways so I'm sure that's part of the problem. Anyways, hope that guy was alright and good job on the 7 for steering around the problem without screwing his beauty up.

yea. some people would really be suprised at how well some of our cars real ly do handle these days. take the new mustangs for example, car and driver tested one the new stage 2 roush mustangs and said that it was the fastes t car to make it around the test track...right behind the ford GT.

Or maybe becasue that mustang had a lot of torque, so when the wheels break loose, it pushes the mustang all over? Or maybe he over corrected? Or may be he kept his foot in it to hopefully pull it out and still finish? Or ma ybe he was really trying to take someone else out with him? There's a shlt load factors in every crash. And you can't tell me that there are less cr ashes in a circit race or a rally race. Well you could, but you'd be full of shlt...
