hahaha i think the 3rd gear notion applies to both the is and g, im personally scared to use the 3rd gear, a friend of my used his 3rd in his is350 and hit 88 sending him back in time running over his dad, it was bad...

Type in IS350 vs G35, and 2 of my videos will come up. I have an '04 G35 (280hp) and my buddy has intake and exhaust on his IS350. When we run its pretty close. I will say they sure made the is350 out to sound much faster then it is. Sucks they only come in automatic. What a waste!

yeah hey Lextasy it's kind of funny the instructions your giving is350 owners to beat g35s. You see, all a g35 has to do to beat you is push in the clutch, select third gear at 4600rpm (peak torque on my 2005 g35 6mt), floor the pedal, and when you're still doing all kind of tiptronic flappy paddle bs, we'll be already 4 car lengths ahead of you!

ForcedZ33, I hear what you are saying, since the IS350 came out every time I come across one (that isn't driven by a chick which is 99% of them) they want to race. somewhere someone got it in their head that there softer suspension and slower 1/4 time makes them capable of taking out a Z.

I've RAPED several IS350's in my Z in stock form. Just had my first run with an IS350 since I went FI and it was a total joke...pulled by a bus length or more in one gear. NO CONTEST NA or FI
