We designed/tested this kit over the summer for reliability, driveability and obiously, performance... we didn't wrap or coat the header because being a new design/product, we wanted to keep an eye on it's wear. Now that we know it's making some pretty respectable power, you can expect to see this kit offered in the very near future with our tubular header in a black coated finish. -STM
