Is this car a v8 Conversion? It didn't sound like it. It sounded like an I6, either an L series, RB series or possibly 7M or 2J toyota plant that was turbocharged.

That was sweet. I would love to build a 240 and drop in a V8. A V12 would be insane but, parts may be an issue if anything were to happen, price wise it would a lot more to. I like the availablity of the V8 parts and how easy they are aquiered at a reasonable if not inexpensive prices.

Josh, as far as I know there is only one Ferrari GTO replica with a BMW V12.. built by me and my roomie. I do know of a Z car with the Jag V12 as well, the owner of that car (Glen) built his as well.
V8 is much easier and cheaper to make power, but V12's sound great :)

Wait... 240z's are made by Datsun (Nissan) how is that American muscle. Was that a v8 conversion? I've been wanting to make a project out of a 240 or a 260 and do an engine swap but forget that typical V8 sound, put in a V12. The engine bay has enough room and people have done the Ferrari replica out of a 240z, they just just throw in a Jag V12 or a BMW V12. >:D
