The BMW Sauber F1 Team unveil their new car for the 2009 Formula One Season in Valencia, Spain. Following the ceremony, Robert Kubica gets behind the wheel for the first test laps. Development work on this car began as early as February 2008 because of the major rule changes that were agreed upon with a completely new aerodynamic package, slick tires, and the introduction of KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System). BMW says it has worked hard to reduce weight in the car to allow the KERS system to be added without losing the ability to have a ballast.
