After breaking my axel in the burn out box at the 2005 Oldsmobile Nationals, I ended up sticking around and shooting some video. Bill Trovato was gracious enough to let me put my camera in his car. The video captures a unique back fire that seldom happens on any race cars. The one thing that this video documents is that Bill’s crew is very thorough in looking for a cause, and even after he is ready to go for a second time he triple checks the fuel solenoid.
