The Junkyard's new Junk Motor. 10:1 heads/cams

Great Depression Racing brings the tragedy of a bad economy to the automotive enthusiast world. <br /> 1994 10:1 compression Mitsubishi Diamante motor with 190,000 miles purchased for $73. <br /> <br /> When regapping the stock rings for turbo use, it was found that the 10:1 pistons have a very high top ring so the motor probably can't take a lot of boost before losing the top ringland. Because of that, I installed my self ported heads with oversize valves and custom cams from a motor I can't afford to fix. This will help make a little more power on lower boost levels. Shooting for 10's on a 190,000 mile shortblock :) Huge fuel system + fuel cell installed too so i won't pop another motor from lack of fuel.
