Viper ACR at GoRally.com road course, 1:32.19

The Central/North Florida Viper club rented the GoRally.com (European Motorsports Park) road course on November 2nd, 2008. Four 2008 ACRs were in attendance. I think this was the fastest full timed lap of the event (another ACR may have been faster, but wasn't timed).<br /> <br /> The car has no performance-enhancing mods, save brake fluid. The suspension is set to SRT's recommended settings for rougher race tracks (how I drive the car on the street). Camber is -2.1/-0.8; toe is 0.0/0.2 degrees; ride height is 111/140mm. Tires were OE Pilot Sport Cups at 36 psi (hot). The wing was left in position 2.<br /> <br /> Obviously the car shows a tendency to understeer. You have to upset it to get it loose, which it doesn't react well to.<br /> <br /> This was my first real track event in the car (or any Viper), and my first trip to the track I was taking it easy when shifting, braking, and at the more dangerous sections. Yes I know I missed two apexes badly; looking at my best split times indicated a 1:31.2 (at the least) should be possible.
