Actually that motor is basically exactly identical to the motor found in the Lincoln navigator. Its a 5.4 liter DOHC 4valve per cylinder V8 (Forged internals on GT motor allow it to handle more power, but block is the same). Sitting on top of this motor is an Eaton roots style supercharger... The guy got a bad launch... you try driving something with that much power and a manual... if that car was running a C4 with a transbrake that car would be bangin off 8's... and be completely driveable and durable. You honda tards make yourselves look so unintelligent everytime you get on here!!!

I dont fully know where your attack at Ford is coming from. They didn't use the mentality of "bigger engine = more speed" at all... It actually has an 8 cylinder engine. That's larger than most tuners, equal to most respectable tuners, and significantly smaller than almost all exotics. Also, the engine uses the same architecture as the Cobra and Lightning engines, and it doesnt belong to Ford's SVT team. So.. you're completely mistaken. And no technological advances? They are using the same engine as the lightning, but made it produce 110hp more in the 3 years between engine makes. So... ya, they are advancing technologically and ya, they are doing new things.
