IROC won. For you fans of the cars on here I have this to say.<br /> <br /> Both cars back in 1988 were very popular, close in performance #'s but the Mustang was cheaper. The IROC-Z however was a better handler & had an overall better handling/suspension rate than the LX or GT. The numbers on 1/4 miles & 0-60 times were very close with the 5.7 Liter IROC & the full blown 5.0 Fox-body.
