First off, you all aren't getting that this car went into day 2 like that. You can see where they took the header off at night and ran it like that, which looked cool, but then put it back together to keep going the next morning. It's true that v8 engines take a long time to blow like that, and yeah, it did take Mythbusters 5 hours to blow the american motor, but this car went into day two. There's also no exact way of knowing how long it lasted. So i'm just throwing that out there for y'all.
