92 300ZX TT vs hatch w/ type R motor and spray
Z has dp, testpipes, catback, JWT ECU, 12psi. Guy claims he has Type R motor with 85 dry shot. First set of honks he didnt hear so I honked again

I have a buddy that has a JWT ECU. They programmed everything to his mods... after the install he was boosting close to 19lbs. Mods were upgraded turbos, cams, hard pipes, cai, intercooler, pulley, full exhaust w/ no mufflers. Running consistent 11's.

nice kill man.. and getalife there is no way jw will send you boost jets that put you up to 18psi. I am on 14psi, jmt ecu, full exhaust, ur pulley set and i pulled a type r by 3 or 4 bus lengths.

no.. i still had stock injectors in this Z.. so the max it could push was 14psi.. but I had a boost controller for 12 psi instead of 14.

if you have the JWT ECU, they should've sent you a set of jets for 18psi

yea i call BS ont the type R part, with nitro he should be pushing around 250-280HP in a civic....from a roll none the less! someones fibbing!

no way man....that hatch needs turbo to beat a vette, and even then, they gotta be nicely tuned. Not just any idiot can slap a motor in a Civic and beat a vette. I mean, i ran my car with a 75 shot of nitrous and was keeping up with a turbo 300zx with a intake. This guy has ecu, intake, and is running a higher boost (by 3 psi). If that Civic had that type r motor, it would've still lost by that much.

torque only matter from a dig, plus his car weighs way way less. a 200hp hatch that weighs 2400 pounds can walk on vetts. look at some of the vid on here.

I dont know what to tell you.. I seen the spray hooked up.. so I know he was spraying.. if it was a type R motor or not.. I dont know or car.. but I dont think it would have mattered either way. That Z put down 300hp w/ 330 ft lbs tq. A low roll... i would pull on almost any Honda motor.. they dont have the torque. He would have just leveled off with me after I pulled a few cars on him.
