3rd gear burnout in my 1988 mustang gt 5.0
5k clutch drop third gear burnout in my '88 mustang. almost stock motor with 3.73 gears. clutch slipped at first but then it grabbed. no sound as usual.

Oh well point proven then. What moran things any 5.0 won't do a third gear burnout? Just like you say, side step it at the red. they'll roast.

ya. the main point of this video was to show some moron that a stock 5.0 with 3.73s can do 3rd gear. he was argueing that a 5.0 had to either be supercharged or have a h/c/i package on it to do 3rd gear with 3.73s or even 4.10s.

rearend was pro built to handle more than this. the car is 100% rot so the drivetrain is coming out anyways and the motor is being built. im sure a 5.0 that is capable of withstanding redline shifts everyday for 250,000 miles can take an easy 5k burnout. in case you dont know they are BULLETPROOF.
