In a tribute to the great 63 Grand Sport racer, Chevrolet built a 96 Grand Sport that was limited to 1,000 produced. However, only 190 of those were convertibles, making this a collector well before its time. True to its racing heritage, all Grand Sports came with the LT4 5.7L V8 engine. Although it was rated at a conservative 330 horsepower, this Corvette produced quickness that rivaled the much more expensive and exotic ZR1. A six speed manual transmission helped achieve this performance. Take one look at this Vette and there is no mistaking what it is - all Grand Sports were painted Lemans Blue with a single wide white strip running its length from nose to tail, as well as two red hash marks over the driver's side fender.
