This is an old 8mm "silent" film from 1977 of my 1970 Cougar at the now-closed Beeline Dragstrip outside Phoenix, AZ. The car had a 351C engine, with a dual quad tunnel ram, 13:1 pistons, and a big cam. This appears to be a low 12-sec run, which was pretty good for a street car back in that era... especially for an 18-year-old. The film was shot by my dad, and then years later dubbed onto VHS tape (and narrated) by my mom in 1991.
