Engine starts at the 1 min 15 seconds mark. I made this vid clip at Laguna Seca in May 08. This dragster is owned by the NHRA Motorsports Museum and was originally driven by Larry Dixon Sr. On this day it was started by Larry Dixon Jr. The video doesn’t do justice to the sensation of being so close to such as incredible engine – the earth vibrated and monstrous noise was deafening! <br /> <br />
