08 STI - stage 1: couple speedo shots

I just wanted to get a baseline video before my stage 2 parts arrive. I did this with my '05 as well just for fun. I've been focusing more on suspension modifications this time around, but figured I'd post this for reference.<br /> <br /> Overall, I'd say my '08 is about the same speed as my '05. The Cobb stage 1 93 v1.01 map really improves the low-end torque but doesn't make a huge difference up top. <br /> <br /> The one thing I don't like about the '08, acceleration-wise, is the longer gearing. Just like the '07, 2nd through 4th have been made longer, which takes a lot of the visceral "punch" out of the car that the '04-'06 had. Granted, less shifting is required, especially for the 1/4, but it doesn't feel like it accelerates as violently. It seems to be about the same quickness though.<br /> <br /> Stage 2 should really open the car up like it did with my '05.
