Please observe the following rules when posting anything to StreetFire. These rules apply for posting comments, video, classifieds or making forum threads or replying to threads.

1.) Respect for other users, their rides and their differences

Doesn't matter if you're into Lowriders or Autocross, Chopper motorcycles or car stereo, domestics or imports. We all share a common hobby and no one's is more or less valid than another. Show respect for other users first. If you think they have a "dumb ride" keep it to yourself, or find something you like about it. (Those are some mighty fine windshield wipers you have there).

2.) Respect the fact StreetFire is an INTERNATIONAL WEB SITE.

With 40% of StreetFire Traffic coming from Car Enthusiasts outside the United States, there will be no tolerance given to nation bashing, racism or political crap. If a Muslim from Iran posts that Hondas are cool, use that as an opportunity to build a bridge, with your fellow car enthusiast. If someone's English sucks, maybe you should review how good your Russian is before you bash them?

3.) Contribute to StreetFire in a meaningful way

This means, make relevant posts, relay the knowledge you have. Help others, do not SPAM the site. Make sure you contribute in a meaningful way. If you sell DVDs, then for the love of God, host your trailer on StreetFire rather than YouTube. This also means Do not resurrect a year old thread to say "cool" or "me too". This is Necroposting and post whoring and if anything we'll make your post count a negative number for doing this.

4) No flaming.

Debates stimulate thought, attacks stimulate counterattacks. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Passive aggressive little quips or trying to goad someone into a fight is TROLLING and is just as immature as a flame war.

5) Do not post illegal, illicit or copyrighted material.

Do not post videos or pictures of pornography or violence. Keep it safe for work. All pornography will be redirected to Red Shift's inbox. DO NOT POST COPYRIGHTED VIDEOS TO STREETFIRE. If the site admins get dragged into the same court room as Kazaa and Grokster, StreetFire goes away. WE DO TRACK YOUR IP ADDRESS and will happily give the police your info to keep our asses out of court. You jeopardized us by posting it, why should we protect you?

6) Stay on Topic

Please stay as close to the post topic as possible. If you need to side step the topic, send a PM, or start a new thread.

7) Pay to Advertise, don't SPAM

Advertisement is reserved for paying sponsors. All spam and non-supported sponsor ads and links will be removed. Exception, DVD retailers are allowed limited free advertising under the following guidelines.

8) Have some faith in us

The moderators will always do their best to provide a fair site. If there is a complaint, please feel free to either contact the moderator through PM of take up the matter with another moderator.

9) If we modify your post/video, please accept it.

Streetfire staff reserves the right to delete, modify or edit any post, video, picture or anything uploaded to our server for any reason. It's possible we deleted your thread because it was dumb, it's possible we deleted it because it was a duplicate, we may have deleted it just to keep you on your toes. Trust that we do this for the good of the site.

10) No Political or Religious threads.

The *ONLY* exception is legal discussion around cars.
