I was so bummed that they went with the new routan styling and succumbed to the mini-van styling plague. They should have kept true to their roots with this sweet beast.Maybe they should build it now with that RWD Fuel Cell powerplant from the VW Up! concept!!!

As soon as VW pulls it head out of it's ass I would be one of the first to get the new microbus. It's a total mystery to me why they wouldn't build this thing.

This was a very solid 67 with no rust. Nearly completely stock. The camper interior was virtually flawless and best of all it drove brilliantly. The 1600cc motor never once gave me trouble and I drove it as a daily driver for well over a year.
