Thanks...I lucked up on it sitting in on barn, while driving around one day.
Beautiful camaro I almost bought the same year before I bought my Nova
Actually the pleasure's mine 'lil bro... you take freedom of speech to another level. I'm sure your dad is a great guy, and he should be proud of you.P.S.- I made my living as a mechanic for a few years...not a bad gig, but listen to your dad :)
it is my pleasure to meet guys such as yourself. i hope one day to be able to get into racing myself. but i do not want to be a mechanic though. my dad was one and it was a hard life on him. and he always told me if i ever even thought about doing what he did, he was going to beat me senseless. ha ha ha. he always loved cars as a boy himself he said, but as he had to work on them day in and out to support me and my brother he lost interest in them. i guess that when your hobby becomes your job, it is not as interesting as it use to be. so i do not want to lose the love for cars, which means that i am not going to do it for my career if you will. but anyway sir, keep me posted on your progress. would love to know how it is going. have a good day.
This one has the electric solenoid that opens the flaps in the back of the cowl...the last owner pulled off the scoop due to the 454 sitting too high to close the hood. I plan to keep the hood but replace it with a tall racing cowl induction fiberglass hood. It sat in the barn for 8 years, with the fresh roller 454 only having 2000 miles on it, when the owner went to Iraq....I was freaked when I found it..original T-Tops and all. Thanks for the support.
does this one have the old vac. controled cowel vent that comes up on the hood? i just can not believe what a good looking car it is. how long did it sit in the barn if you know? it is really hard to come across these cars now. and i am a ford guy all the way, but yet a car is a car. i love it sir.
Haven't raced it yet....just rescued it from a barn recently.
Whats the 1/4 mile time?
