The MiG
Engine
In place of the long gone 4 banger, a 96 Ford Explorer 5.0 and complete EFI and emissions system. Roller 1.70 rockers, headers, and a nice cold air intake, but from that till the flywheel is a bone stock motor. Through the clutch to a rebuilt T-5 from a 90 stang. It makes a very nice package. The engine actually came out of a 96 Mountaineer with 134k on the clock, but the processor is from a 97 ford with AWD, and had GT40p heads, but was the only one of the 3 comps that world idle. Power enough to hose bikes, yet it still gets 25-30 mpgs, cty/hwy combined.
Suspension Mods
Mustang II front with longer shocks and manual rack. Brakes are stock size 5 lug with ceramic pads.

9 inch rear: narrowed 8 inches, 3.25 Posi, Lincoln Mark VII 11 inch disc's, Moser axles, and racing U-joints on a stubby driveshaft completes the rolling part. Its hung on a custom 3 link: 2 lowers, spring mounted before the axle, and a wishbone style multiple adjustable upper. Its mounted to the car in the center, adjustable up and down, two points on the axle, and is adjustable in length. Spring height is also easily adjusted, making the car very tuneable.

Binding power starts at the late 70's lincoln master Cyl, the rears have an adjustable proportioning valve, and the front a line lock. The parking brake is functional!
Electronics
Electronic Fuel injection, 140 amp alternator, electric fans driver controlled, and a CD player.
Wheels
Weld racing: 15x4 front, 15x10 rear. The rear hides are 295/50 r15 supersports. It roast's them like they're gocart tires!!

This is my dad's 1967 MGBGT, say that 5 times fast!! The car started from a pile of rust about to be thrown away, then we got it. Built with a steel body, not fiberglass that flies off in a crash, the frame is strengthened and the car has a 6 point roll cage, with a 5 point harness, it's a very safe car. Aerodynamically it's incredible, very minimal side draft tendencies, and the scoops on the doors are designed to remove air from the rear of the car. Fumes are no issue with the car, much thanks to the complete 96 emissions system. It also get 25-30 miles per gallon cty/hwy combined. The interior starts with the custom 5 piece dash, with A/C, the seats are from another GT and were recovered. the trans tunnel is aluminum to save on weight and give good access to remove the T-5.
My Other Rides
Its my first ride, 16th birthday present. 6cly 3.0 auto 165493 miles. It was originally a delivery van for Airborne Express. Then owned by my dads parents, my mom cant stand this lil truck!! I used it to drive 100 miles a day city highway combined, blew a transmission once, but I knew it was iffy when i got the free truck. After porting the intake manifold a rocker arm came loose and I gave up on trying to hotrod the, by then 177k, stock engine. I learned building it with my dad. Star
