This was supposed to be a pm, oh well.

I got rid of the Trans Am in '07, but those mods would,ve done what I predicted "if it would hook." I would've atleast used drag radials, but I think some supporting suspension mods would've really helped it. I never weighed my truck, it had a stock stereo with nothing removed. I had the really nice bed rug and a fiberglass tonneau cover on it.
My Crown vic weighs 4220 with a full tank of gas, weighed on 4-wheel scales. My Comet, however, weighed 2680 with about a 1/3 tank of gas with interior stripped and cragar 15's on it[pizza cutters in the front,no swaybar]. The mustang II front end is still being installed with Wilwood 12.19" dynalite brakes and those rims don't fit it anymore. I can only afford to do the front-end for now, when I get some money, I'm going to do a triangular 4 link with a ford 9". I'm starting to go a different route with the Comet and would like to make it a great street car with a/c and such[the heater isn't even in the car]. I really really want to do a 5 speed swap in it.
