ABout the tear drop: It took an 8 hour day to strip the steel hood, cut an airfilter hole, trim the scoop, and mount with fiberglass and rivets. It took ANOTHER 8 hour day to shape and then prime the hood. 8 years later it still looks good and hasn't cracked.
