Thanks man, I plan on doing a fuel system upgrade on my car soon, here is a link for a good cheap fuel system, this is what i plan on doing to mine. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/fueling-injection/856954-diy-twin-pumps-qu ick-cheap.htmlIf your remember the black turbo t/a from the lsx shootout that runs high 8's low 9's, thats the fuel system he runs and he's the guy who made that thread. Just ordered me a 160 degree thermostat for knock purposes and another wideband oxygen sensor since mine took a chit. I got to get this thing runnin better. My tune is way lean!!!!

Hey man, have not talked to you in a while, i got my rearend in the car at the beginning of last month, i got to get some pics of it for you. I drive's good. Low speed's it makes alot of racket cause of the heim joints on the lower control arms and panhard bar and also the spool. And at 55 to 65 mph the rear whines pretty loud. Other than that it is very fun to drive. The 4.11's really kick ass, i plan on taking it to the track this sunday and get some times and hopefully some video. I need to get under there and take some pictures for you guys so you can see what it looks like. How's things going your way man? Hope you got all your issues with lifters fixed on your car. I plan on going to two events this year, the Lsx shootout which has been moved to Gateway international Raceway in Madison, Il. October 7-10 and then Holley ls fest at beech bend raceway park in Bowling Green kentucky on september the 10-12. Both should be a real blast, they are putting up a competetion to see who has the fastest ls powered vehicle in the world at the Holley Ls Fest.Talk to you soon man.

oh yeah i meant to tell you that from what i have been reading on ls1tech.com is that lunati is the same thing as the morel lifters. I dont know for sure but no one has tried to correct them on there that they are not the same. Just thought you should know that, don't sound good for me if i want to go with the morels lol!!!

The rearend parts for the vette's are expensive, i guess i am glad i stuck with the f-body lol. I am still spending an arm and a leg on it. Your cam has alot of duration on it so its pretty hard on lifters. I never really thought of them having that much trouble. I hope my solid roller setup works good. I still have alot of parts i need to figure out before committing to buy any of it. I don't have the money to spend on it right now anyways. Adjusting the lash on it is not worrying me to much, its more of me spinning it up to 7000 rpm's on a stock bottom end that's worrying me to death. I just know as soon as i get my top end done and start making high rpm pulls that its gonna spin a bearing on me or even worse. I plan on upgrading the rod bolts to arp cause they say the stockers are not very good for high hp but the crank and rods should handle it. And i think as long as i can keep the detonation out of the picture that the pistons will be fine. Thats one reason i like E85, its cheap and its over 100 octane-no detonation for me lol. We will see i am still waitin on the rear, i am gonna send them an email this week and see whats up.

Putting a Vortech blown ls1 into a firebird, sounds great man. What year is the car, what type of trans and rear end setup etc. I understand what your saying about being able to jump in your ride and being able to do what you want with it man, it gets agrivating when things keep messing up and you cant figure out the problem. I think that even at the power level your at now the trans will wear out quick and will need a rebuild but not just because of the power just hard shiftin and useage , also you might have to update the rear diff assembly to hold the extra and especially if your going forced induction.I know your workin hard man, keep it up man sounds like your makin alot of progress with your business and makin some damn good stuff. I will be gettin the rear soon so be ready for some pics and maybe a vid, i am hopefully going to get this thing reliable for some hard launches and street driving.

Hey man i figured you were crazy busy with things with your business. Sounds like a lot of work and those hours are crazy but i know your dedicated to getting things done and not halfassing it. I am sure they will be pleased with the stuff you made for them. Lifter again? Wow thats crazy, what brand of lifters are you using? I plan on using the morel lifters for my solid roller from what i have researched and they also make a hydraulic. But you said yours was stuck in the lifter bore. I wonder what is causing that to happen. Maybe not enough oil is getting in that area but i am not sure. What type of lifters are you using and also what type of rocker arms are you using. Forced induction is great man, always when your makin more power you have to have the other mods to hold the power but i have not researched into what parts in the vette rear is stronger than the others.

Hey man whats goin on. Have not talked to ya in a while. I got my rearend ordered from Eric Vicary at Midwest Chassis. He makes fabricated 9 inch housings to go in F-bodies. Aluminum center section from strange, 4.11 richmond gears, steel spool just for now cause it was cheaper. 35 spline strange axle's 1/2" studs, 1350 series yoke, chromeoly strange driveshaft. Chromeoly torque arm, panhard bar, and Lca's made by him. Its coming fully assembled for 4 channel abs and its all powdercoated black. I took the backing plates and abs rings off today to send to him. It did not take long at all to get the axles out because all the teeth on the spider gears and side gears were ate up lol. I am gonna get some pics of my old rear and the new rear. Gonna get a good picture of the gears. Put some new video's up of Winter Wars 2010 we had here at Hub City Dragway in Hattiesburg. Check out the silver turbo buick, Twin turbo 4.6 mod motor white cobra and the black blown vette. They all run low 9's with the buick being the fastest at 9.0's. All street cars. The Green 69 Camaro is a BBC with Nitrous.
