6G72 FTW I am a 19 college freshman who has had a love for car since I was, well very young. Ever since I can remember I used to just take things apart and put them back together. When I turned 15 my parents needed another car but they wanted one that they can give me after I got my license, so they got me a 1991 Dodge Stealth ES. After I blew up the motor on the stealth I took it upon myself to change the motor out for a new one. so I bought one from japan and swaped it out. Some time in the begining of 08 I found this 1995 3000GT base model that had a blown head gasket. I bought it for $900 and rebuilt the engine. ran great for a couple of weeks and then, the only thing that was not changed on the rebuild, the oil pump went out. Since the engine swap had gone so well last time and the stealth was still running as good as ever I just ordered another engine for my 3kgt but this one was a beast of an engine. Instead of the 222hp 3.0 I purchased a 3.5 6G74 of a mitsubishi debonair pushing 256hp and 230ftlbs of torque. great engine and great power. The 3500GT, as I call it, is my dd now since my dad is using the stealth but I hope to find a VR4 or GTO MR in the future as my race car.
