John Edwards @ Costa Mesa R&D Automotive Machine I have been in the automotive business since 1967. My first professional gig was with the Sunbeam and Renault dealer in Compton, CA while I was still in high school. Since then I have had a number of automotive repair shops and worked for some interesting entities, including Keith Black Racing Engines and Sunnen Products Company. I taught engine rebuilding for 15 years in Ventura (CA) County. During that time I began my writing career and wrote the Auto Dictionary (HPBooks), a 1994 SEMA award winner. My next big project was to write and publish Sunnen's Complete Cylinder Head and Engine Rebuilding Handbook that was introduced at the 1998 Sunnen World Conference held in St. Louis. I went to work for Sunnen (STL) in 2001 as their industrial sales operations manager. I returned to SoCal in late 2002 and managed Costa Mesa R&D Automotive Machine before I was asked to take it over completely. I currently specialize in a variety of engine machining operations as well as engine research & development projects for a variety of companies and individuals. I enjoy producing/directing videos and teaching others about what high precision machine work is all about. I would enjoy hearing from you and hearing about your projects. I am currently teaching engine rebuilding two nights a week at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, CA www.engine-machining.com

Thanks for the add! Wow...you have some serious experience in the "Automotive Industry"! :) ...and you have some unique rides too! You don't see too many 68' Fiat Race Cars these days! We'd love for you to come show these off at RoadRoyalty.com as well! It would be great to have you as a member too! :)

Thanks for all the hard work on the 4g63, the engine runs awesome. I made 433 AWHP / 336 TQ on pump gas, and I should be able to get into the 600 mark on c16. The engine is just amazing. Build perfectly. Thank you soooooo much.

Have you ever don an NA build for the EG33: port and polished heads, intake, plenum, custom cams, ecu, ect.? I've seen RallyBob on the Opel forums get 292whp but he's not in business.
