i would go with that kit over turbonetics. The down pipe is set up alot nicer, and the waste gate is mounted in a much better way. I would get the ball bearing upgrade though. I wanted to get that kit for my car but it was still in the process of being put together.

the turbo kit was pretty nice. i wouldnt have paid the any more than what i did for it though. Before i bought it they wanted 5grand for it, but 3600 was worth it. So far no problems, and the car seems doing be doing fine. The only way you would kill your car is boosting the crap out of it, and beating the shit out of your car. I know people that have 50k on their motors with no problem. the vq swap is nice to.

o yea, you are going to loose your fog lights also, you have to cut some of the plastic out on the back side so the piping will fit. so i had to get smaller fog lights to replace them

yea, i wouldnt buy cams either unless they are for boost. cuz the nismo cams don't do anything for my car right now. The kit was pretty easy. The fuel pump is probably one of the harder things to do. Make sure your turbo is clocked right, i had to turn my compressor housing becuase it was pointed towards the hood. And your going to have to cut like 2 inches off the inside of the mouth of your front bumper to let the intercooler fit. The directions it comes with is for an 04 05, and thier bumpers are different so you don't have to cut them. Other then that it took about 10 hours.

i paid 750 for the cams, and 300 to have them put in. those are for sale too if someone wanted them bad enough. i was looking for like 275 for the header cuz it cost like 580 new and nothing machanically can go wrong with it. If you know anyone looking for one let me know. I would prob want like 500 for the cams.

i the dyno sheet is in the video i made. It think it was 170whp/175 180ft/lbs. The green line of the dyno chart is the whp before the turbo. the blue line is with just the reflash, and the red lines are with the tune of the safc and map sensor. Before the turbo i had UR Lightweight crank pulley, nology wires, nismo header w/o cat, nismo exhaust, nismo cams, and the nismo cold air intake. With the turbo i had to take off the header, and intake. I sold the intake now just looking for someone that wants to buy the header. When i dynoed it N/A it was in like 85degree weather and high humidity. so the numbers prob would have been closer to 180 if it was a little cooler out.

i am from Rhode Island. Where abouts are you from? You should check out NewEnglandRally.com. My friend and i were in the M3 on the front page and i am taking my car this august. Tons of sweet whips go. Last year there were about 40 cars, and this year about 50. Tons of fun. Its a weekend trip in the first week of august. There is a run in March to maine also i might be doing.

Whats up man! I take it you have a boosted spec v? I actually have an '02 SE-R (not spec v :/). Any suggestions on what to do the whip? So far i have only I/H and next going to get the EVO2 exhaust, Megan racing DP, BSR, MMI and some ECU tune by Stillen's QR pro. I want boost, but then again im feeling a sr20ve or a vq35de swap. To boost, or to swap?
