In love with the Nurburgring..
Hi everybody,
My name is David and i am 23 year old. ( well almost., on Februari the 20th.. i will be 23 :) ) i love working out and love cars a lot., esspecially BMW's ! (E30)
I have always driven BMW from my first car a BMW E30 318iS little racemonster with m-tech untill the big gaint 3.5L 7-serie's BMW. Currently owning a BMW 525i (E34 / M50) and a BMW 320i (E30 / M20) type 2..
I love them both !
I picked up the passion for racing from my E30 318iS a little DTM-based roadcar with m-tech upgraded suspension and with tyre's up tot 225/50/16" in the rear that could hardly kick out it's back under high pressure, made me one of the most famous irritating opponont for other young race freaks in my area.
Dispite there more powerful engine and (un) painted spoilers the could not lose me! ( unless we hed up to over the 150 km/h) then it all up to your horsepower-rate.
Growing older by the years my interest grew out to more BMW-area's with as goal getting as close to the M-powersensation as is possible and as far as my money could bring me to that goal. With the hope of making my hobby a lifetime full-time job! out on the track offcourse.
Another car what my mom owned openend my second addiction/passion.. Drifting !!
It all started out in a BMW E34 525tds "AUTOMATIC ??!!"
You must be thinking how kan you drift a dieselpowerd 1550kg heavy automatic with only 143 BHP ?!
Well,
I was lucky., it was chipped by the previeus owners :) !!
Now that made the differents !
Power now was raised from a 143 BHP to around 175 BHP
( Turbocharged diesels ?! , don't u love was a chip alone can do with diesel ! )
The drifting came to mind because of the standerd high torque.. with the chip, torque raise the roof from from origenal 260NM we then past the 300NM to god know's where.
The car was a maniac !
With no power lacking anymore and teassing pimp's at traffic-light's we went on. trying to controle the 5-speed automatic gearbox, i can tell u ! That effect made me sweat in place's that should stay normally dry..
Afther month of trying and training myself i was getting better and better in controling the heavy automatic diesel. ( took me so long due to lack of money. drifting ain't cheap if you actualy can't afford it)
But afther years of pleassure the car had to be sold due to high service and repaircost's and a dent. ( not from drifting )
And my personal life turning upside down.
Reccently i owned a 3.5L 211BHP 7-series E32 (a good but very short financial time) now that was a monster that i had to have owned once in my life.. he was acctually to fat and to heavy but by determination and experience out of my 5 serie's a mastered it in a couple of days.
Due to an electrisch turinglichtfailliure what was unfindable unless u had a lot of money! Witch i don't have or had. (remember very short good financial time's :( ) the car had to be sold.
I can tell u this of my short time of owning a 7-serie's .. Telling by the looks of people on the road and in there care some of them almost died in there car by the shock of seeing a 1700 Kg tank go sideways with mass of smoke, engine tone and a live concert of the reartyres only.. :)
Now i'm lucky to one 2 BMW's.. Both are still in good condition luckely and a can still just afford to go on with not losing one of them.
I will try to post some photo's of them in the up coming weeks, i hoop u will come to visite me again soon to see them.
My regards,
David Proost
