yeah I'm not going to sell my car just yet. When the time comes, I'll be asking 5.5-6k. I just got done taking my starter out. All went well. I had to drop the exhaust from the cat up. Believe it or not, my car has the stock muffler :) My exhaust is piping is stock diameter. My cat is also completely hollow. You should do plugs, wires, cap, and rotor if you can! 400ci is a big engine :) Good luck, talk to you later.

Sorry to hear that... I went to my local drag strip (KCIR) yesterday. I thought it was fun, I've never drag raced before. It's a lot harder than it looks. I ran a 14.45 (LOL) my reaction time was .567 (crapppppy) I couldn't get it down. I only made 2 passes though. At the end of the strip, I let off the gas, but didn't realize that the finish line was about 300 feet down the road... combine that with the .567 reaction time and you got a 14.45 @90mph 1/4 mile time. Oh I didn't "launch" the car either. My 60' time was 2.2, not bad with a .567 reaction time. When i got home, i shut my car off for a second. When i try to start it now it just "clicks" My batter is brand new, and I've been having problem with the damn cylinoid thats connected to the starter. I'm thinking about selling my car; crap keeps going wrong!!!!!!! pissing me off!

I'm assuming your car is automatic? Flow master 40's sound really good, I had them on my truck. I will warn you though, I've read around the internet that they don't flow very well, and hence they don't increase horsepower. But from what your telling me you want sound so its a good choice. I personally love the sound. I say go with it!! Cool talk to you lata.

I was looking at a late '80's Camaro. I love any of the black/blue/white colors :). Yep they do look aggressive with the 4'' cowl hood, people are going to try to race you. An added bonus of the hood is the lower weight. They say 100 lbs = 10 horses. Hmmm exhaust... I'm not too relevant with the 3rd gen exhaust setups, I would recommend watching some exhaust videos. My exhaust setup is pacesetter mid length headers and exhaust cutout, every thing else in the system is stock, like the muffler. I didn't feel like spending $400 on a cat back system, so I went with the electronic cutout. I bought mine off eBay for like $225 with shipping, (Thats for the stainless steel "dump", it wont rust, there are cheaper ones like cast iron.)I had my uncles friend installed it for $35 (They have to be welded), so $255 total, not bad. My dad helped me install the wiring and what not. The cutout is really loud, it bypasses the muffler. You can save you a lot of money if you have "connections", you know people what will give you discounts and and do stuff "under the table". My uncles friend installed my 4.10 gears, did it "after hours" so I paid no tax :). Oh, I'd say get some rear end gears like 3.73 or like me 4.10s. It makes your car pull like crazy, big difference you can feel! Well, get back to me on what you think fits your needs in the exhaust department. Josh.

Hey Josh, I read your message, and see that you've had your one of many to come encounters with the police. I was accused of stealing gas from a gas station (I don't pay for my gas :), so why would i steal it?) I had a cop "escort" me back to the gas station, turns out that my credit card didn't "go through", but the stupid employee "approved" the pump so that I could get my gas, but would have to come inside to pay, not once did he say anything over the inter calm, so I had to idea. I've never pumped any more gas from that station. Ohhh you should of seen the look on the cops face when the clerk explained what happened, and basically proved my innocence, ha ha he was pissed, I'm guessing he thought he was going to put me into custody or something... So when we left the gas station front door and returned to our cars,(The cop car pulled in next to me when we parked) the cop was checking my car out, he said the license plate I keep in the front drives side of the dash was illegal. He walked around the car and saw my lens caps on my tail lights and bitched about how that was illegal and what not. Finally he decided to leave and what was my reply to him??? "See ya later" ha ha, and what do you think his reply was??? "BECAREFUL" Hah thats it.
