Adam Bruce - CEO & Founder

Adam Bruce

Adam’s fascination with the world of automotive social networking began in 1994, when a good friend showed him that there were mailing lists and newsgroups where people did nothing but talk about cars. He’s been hooked ever since, and has spent oceans of time using the Internet as a tool to further his car passion.

In order to fund the expense of modifying cars, motorcycles or anything with an internal combustion engine, Adam has held positions such as graphic artist for Internet eLearning systems in the early 1990s; project manger at Siebel consulting companies; and most recently (2000 to 2004) account manager for some of telecommunications largest and most complex customers. Over the past 13 years though, Adam has found the greatest satisfaction working for start-ups, and in 2004 he saw a need for easily sharing automotive media with fellow enthusiasts, a need recognized by long-time friends and car-racing buddies Chris and Jeremy. Adam met Jeremy at a racing event in Florida, and Chris at a drag strip in Georgia. The three decided the best way to further fund their passion for cars was to take StreetFire.net from a small experimental Web site into a real portal for enthusiasts to share videos, pictures, and just generally gab about cars.

Today, more than 13 years after first discovering car lovers could use the Internet to meet fellow enthusiasts, Adam works to enable fellow enthusiasts from around the world share their passion. He couldn’t have dreamed of a better home.

Tad Czyzewski - CFO

Tad Czyzewski

Tad specializes in working with companies as they organize and move through their early growth stages. Tad joined the company as CFO in the summer of 2007 as StreetFire was completing its move to California. For more than 10 years, through his firm CFO Resources, Tad has worked on the finance side of a variety of growing companies, including serving as CFO of NeoPets, Inc., a virtual reality online entertainment company, from its early days through NeoPets’ ultimate acquisition and integration as part of MTV Networks/Viacom.

Before starting CFO Resources, Tad served for five years as senior vice president and chief financial officer of On Assignment, Inc., a nationwide provider of science professionals on temporary assignments. During this time that company achieved rapid growth and completed a successful initial public offering. Tad’s prior experience includes three years as controller for the retail and international sectors of Prudential-Bache Securities, a leading investment brokerage and financial services company, and five years as corporate director of internal audits for City Investing Company. Tad is a certified public accountant, and began his career at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG), working in Los Angeles, Milan, Italy and New York.

The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spyder, built in late ‘50s and early ‘60s, is one of Tad’s favorite old cars. He currently drives a Range Rover ‘95 classic LWB, re-powered with a 4.6 liter Rover engine, which he calls a “thirsty rolling money pit,” but it’s worth the drive, and a BMW Mini Cooper. He’s hoping that being at StreetFire will help him make an “inspired choice” with his next car. He fantasizes about the Alfa 8C Competizione (since they are making only 500 of them, what are the odds?). Then there’s always the Porsche Cayman, a Prius, some other Hybrid or a Dodge Sprinter with a Mercedes diesel, outfitted for camping and transporting an assortment of wheeled and water toys.

Tad’s family includes his wife, Halina, two grown children and one grandson.
